YIID 2012 Uitm Sarawak

Buat julung kalinya, beberapa pelajar jabatan Ukur Bahan dengan kerjasama dari beberapa pelajar jabatan lain telah memasuki pertandingan YIID2012. Walaupu tidak dapat memenangi sebarang hadiah, pujian harus diberikan kepada pelajar yang terlibat kerana kesungguhan dan komitemen yang diberikan. pelajar yang terlibat adalah Clifford Ray, Jillian Jayce, Mohd Mustaqim Mersal dan Mahathir Mohamad. Produk yang dipertandingkan adalah Multi purpose pen khas untuk wanita. Keep up the good effort!

Part 6 Final project presentation.

This semester, Part 6 final project presentation was held at dewan kuliah 3.In about 5 groups did their presentation. So, students....... we really hope, you have gained some experience, knowledge and do take any mistakes done as a lesson to learn n to be avoided in future....all the best!

Dah 19 hari kita berpuasa, baru berkesempatan untuk mengucapkan buat salam ramadhan buat semua staf dan pelajar uitm samarahan. Mohon maafkan segala keterlanjuran dalan bahasa percakapan dan perbuatan yang mengguris hati. moga ramadhan ini merupakan ramadhan yang lebih baik dari tahun sebelumnya.

WORLD'S FIRST SOLAR POWERED STADIUM IN TAIWAN

Taiwan recently finished construction on a solar-powered stadium that will generate 100% of its electricity

from photovoltaic technology Designed by Toyo Ito,the 50,000-seat arena will officially open later this year
to welcome the 2009 World G ames which features many sports not included in the Olympics Such as parachuting, tenpin bowling and rugby sevens .

It has a 14,155m2 solar roof that can churn out 1.14 million kWh (gigawatt hours) of electricity per year. This is enough to power the building's 3,300 lights and two giant television screens. The 8,844 solar panels can power up 80% of the surrounding neighborhood when the stadium is unused. The Taiwanese government intends to sell the excess capacity generated during the hot summers. Large enough to hold 55,000 spectators, it has been built for US$150m
